Terms of Service

RightsDocket is a product of Signal Fidelity Group, LLC. These Terms govern use of the RightsDocket service by account holders, collaborators, and anyone accessing shared project materials.

Use of the Service

RightsDocket is a software service for documenting provenance, contributor disclosures, AI usage disclosures, exports, and verification workflows for commercial audio projects.

You may use the service only if you are authorized to upload, store, process, and share the materials you submit.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate registration and billing information and keep it current.

Customer Content

You retain ownership of your project content, uploads, and related materials. You grant RightsDocket the limited rights necessary to host, process, secure, transmit, and display that content to provide the service.

You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and completeness of the information you submit, including contributor splits, AI disclosures, contract posture, and rights assertions.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to infringe intellectual property rights, violate law, submit malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service availability, or access data that does not belong to you.

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.

Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans renew according to the subscription terms presented at checkout unless canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Plan limits and features may vary by tier. RightsDocket may change pricing or packaging prospectively with notice.

No Legal Advice

RightsDocket provides workflow, documentation, and verification tooling. It does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or a guarantee of copyright, chain-of-title, or procurement approval.

You should consult qualified counsel for legal advice regarding ownership, licensing, registration, risk allocation, or compliance obligations.

Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue features from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Beta, experimental, or preview features may be changed or removed at any time.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RightsDocket will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, business, reputation, or expected savings arising from use of the service.
